Gotta Gold

Aside from purple, GOLD is one of my favorite colors! I think gold is super glamorous and its best for browns eyes gal's. So I created this classic gold look that that is elegant but fun. Enjoy:)

As always, start with a naked eyes

I'm taking  the ever bilena glitter liner in GOLD and apply it at the inner corner of the eyes

Using a flat eyeshadow brush, tap the gold eyeshadow all over the lid, avoiding that part where you just put the glitter liner on.

I used the Ellana Mineral eyeshadow in Divine

Take a clean blending brush or any brush that you have and blend the color up to the crease to soften the gold out..

then used any brown shadow that you have and put it on the crease and sweep it back and forth

I used a pencil brush for more precise application

same brush, take any bronze eyeshadow and put it at the outer v of the eye

sorry for the broken shadow:(

Used a flat eyeliner brush and then the Ellana Mineral eyeshadow in Divine

and smudge it under the lower lash line surrounding the eyes with GOLD...

this brush is actually from Avon

This is optional..take a white eyeliner and line your water line for bigger, rounded eyes

now, just apply a peachy blush and a pink lipstick

were done!!!

Brain VS Beauty

If someone asked you, beauty or brain? What will you choose?

I have read somewhere that they prepared beauty more than brain. They said that it is easier to achieve Brain that beauty? Really? How? Study, read, read and study? Watch the news, talk with confidence and pretend you’re super smart human being? No, I don’t think so. I had this classmate in high school, who isn’t that smart but trying her best to at least pass our exams one at a time.  I heard her memorizing a single word like.. maybe six times! And when it was quiz time, she had still forgotten that one word she had memorized a lot of times! I’m not saying that it was hopeless, I am just saying that be intellectual, you have to work hard on it, with sweat and blood, or be lucky enough to be born with such a gift.

I also read that girls with beauty but no brains can work in modeling industry, beauty contest or an actress! I totally disagree! In beauty contest like the miss universe or miss world, you definitely need a brain to answer the question to win the crown! or else be the talk of the town as the beautiful but  no brainer … and  have you watched the America’s next top model? Do you think those girls are not brainy???? And based on my experience… people who have more brains earned more respect that those who have not… I have this co-worker who is really beautiful; she is often admired by everyman around us. Envy for everyone! Beauty plus oozing sex appeal! Just..Don’t mind her grammars, or her diction or her constant errors at work and the lack of common sense. The worst part is the attitude. She didn’t want to be rectify when she makes mistakes! She cannot accept the facts the she needs help on the academic side. I’m not saying that she was impossible, everyone is willing to help her, the problem is really her… I was honestly disappointed with a person like that.  She was like an empty box of chocolate.

If you have the brain, you are more likely to succeed, but you have to mix the brain with the right attitude.  I have this friend who always wanted to work on the front desk. But she isn’t tall enough and had an ordinary appearance. So she was assigned to work inside the office. But being “brainy” she worked her way out by answering phone calls and giving an accurate information with wit and enthusiasm. Soon, everyone was asking to talk to her and almost immediately, she was assigned to work at the front desk. Being brainy can really help you get what you want….

I’m not saying this to criticized beautiful girls, but I’m just showing the fact that being brainy has more advantages. And it doesn’t hurt if you are going to try to improve your self from time to time.  It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, it is never too late to try and enhance your self not just in the outside but also in the inside, and in the intellectual side. Believe me, it will make your life different and it will help you boost up your confidence.

This is just my view..and everybody has different opinions . I love to hear yours…

gold and purple

Graduation is just around the corner and this is my first graduation being THE teacher. What the best way to celebrate graduation? Combining my two favorite colors! Gold and purple!

Heres's the look I have created...

Start with a naked eye..

 

Use a dark brown shadows and apply it to your crease

 

  

Next, choose a shadow that is closest to your skin tone and apply it to your brow bone

TAP your favorite gold eyeshadow all over your lid. I used Ellana eyeshadow in gorgeous

And for the glitters, I used the ever bilena glitter liner

Tap it CAREFULLY on top of the gold shadow.

Flatten the glitters carefully using an eyeshadow brush

Apply a purple eyeshadow to your lower lash line

Add black liner to your upper lashline

 

Done!

Since I'm planning to have this look on Graduation day, I tried to experiment using different lipstick. The eyes is dramatic enough so I used light color lipstick.

Purple eyes...

I love purple! From clothes to make-up! I think purple enhances your eyes especially if your have  brown eyes...so here is my first ever purple make-up tutorial!

Here's my purple look

 

Lets start

I used the everbilena advance 24 colors eyeshadow...

Naked eyes
use your favorite primer

Apply this purple/pinkish eyeshadow all over your lid

Use a blending brush to soften all the harsh line

  Apply  dark purple to your crease and blends it well

 dark gray shadow to your outer V to deepen the look

Blend all the colors

 White shimmering shadow to your brow bone to highlight

Apply the dark purple shadow to your lower lash line

Apply purple eyeliner

Add  false eye lashes

and your favorite purple lipstick

She knows that karma needs a little help.

She’s not averse to giving her tormentor a taste of her own medicine 

because she knows nobody has the right to bully or hurt anyone.

She is proactive & leaves little to fate.

She will call that antagonist on her misdeeds

& will not take it sitting down,

she won’t hesitate to give her enemy a bath of wine

after the latter drenches her with water,

mess with the bad girl,& she fights back.


TRY: speaking up when the mean girls cuts in front of you.
